Dr. Michael Galvez, MD
Founder
Pediatric Hand Surgery Society
Board certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Michael Galvez is specialized in congenital hand deformities and upper extremity surgery.
Dr. Galvez completed his undergraduate education in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of California at Berkeley. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford University and was inducted in the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society. He then completed fellowships in combined hand and microvascular surgery at the University of Washington and in pediatric upper extremity surgery at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
Hannah is an MD/PhD Candidate at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson.

In 2018, she graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Cell Science and a minor in Bioinformatics. After graduation, Hannah dedicated 2 years at the National Institutes of Health (NIH)-National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) branch as an Intramural Research and Training Award (IRTA) fellow to research novel therapeutic treatments for opioid addiction in a behavioral animal model. In 2020, Hannah entered the MD/PhD MSTP program at the University of Arizona-Tucson, where she is currently completing her PhD in Medical Pharmacology.
